The fellowships · The age of information

What We Do

We are exiting the age of industry and entering the age of information and technology. Universal needs-based systems replace merit-based systems — and what they create is the fellowships.

“A need is reason enough.”

Merit-based systems use reserve language. They meet certain needs only for those who can pay or who are judged to deserve it. The fellowships address all needs, and meet them simply because there is a need.

What we do

Six pillars of the fellowships.

Healing

Sound baths, breathwork, and healing circles led by trusted practitioners.

Beach Fellowship

Sunrise gatherings, cleanups, and sacred gatherings on the Santa Monica shore.

Regeneration

Food forests, ecosystem restoration, and protecting water, soil, and wildlife.

Community Groups

Small circles built on cooperation — where everyone's gifts are welcomed.

Awakening

Workshops and livestreams from teachers, elders, and innovators.

Volunteering

Contribute your unique gifts and track your service in the community.

How the fellowships work

No leaders, no laws, no dues

Like the twelve-step rooms: no governors, no rules, no fees, no initiation. You can never get kicked out. You're told keep coming back — you're worth it. You're lovable no matter what.

Willingness and capacity, not merit

Nothing is earned by grades, titles, or winning. There is no exchange to prove. Everything runs on a learning and growth mindset, and no one is ever threatened.

If no one wants the work, it doesn't get done

No coercion, no voting, no majority overruling a heart. Work happens because willingness rises — and willingness rises when people feel safe, rested, and loved.

Needing each other builds trust

Money cancels out relationship: we pay, we're even, we walk away. Meeting needs together keeps us connected. Interdependence is the point, not the problem.

What it looks like day to day

We garden together

Food forests and neighborhood plots where anyone can show up, learn, teach, harvest, or simply sit in the shade.

Community kitchens & restaurants

Open any time. Come learn to cook. Come teach someone. Come wash dishes. Come eat. No till, no tab, no test.

Robots and AI do the rest

Anything boring, dangerous, repetitive, or that no human wants to do — a machine can do. Technology should liberate us, not further enslave and control us.

Lifelong groups

We are meant to connect for life. No separating children every time they graduate a grade. Imagine being with the same people your whole life.

Step fellowships

Rooms with steps, like the twelve — reframed around needs.

Anger & Hands. Recovery. Conflict & Repair. Panic & Regulation. Relationship Repair. Someone learns their way out of hitting, and then walks the next person out — as a Fellowship Mentor, not a judge.

By needing each other, we create what we've been missing.

True, deep, authentic, interdependent partnerships that last a lifetime. We're not supposed to be easy to control. We're supposed to belong to each other.
